Farmers and crafters often have very different information regarding the quality and use of the fleece produced from different breeds of sheep. I have been surprised how descriptions in the wool marketing board literature, for example,can differ so much from the spinners and knitters view of a breed!
Just because a fleece may be used for carpets it doesn’t mean that it cannot also be used for a baby cardigan. I have listed some of the qualities and characteristics of the yarns that we are currently offering.
